I actually have to 100% agree with Cougs on this one. I'd actually take that extra step and say it's probable.

The racist shit in the video happens at the 1 minute mark. The first minute is just vote fixing conspiracy garbage, Trump's favorite.

Apparently ol' dumbass was just on a Truth Social bender retweeting (reTruthing?) tons of shit last night. With his attention span it's very likely IMO he just saw the voting hoax stuff and shared it, doubt he watches and reads all this shit diligently.

This doesn't excuse it, obviously. The fucking POTUS SHOULD, obviously, be careful about this sort of thing and take responsibility for it. But of course this particular POTUS is what he is, so we can't expect that.

I found the Twitter uproar over this to be disingenuous and misleading.

See, Cougar? I'm consistent on disliking things taken out of context regardless of party or target. For the record, I think Don Lemon is a tool, too.

Agree 100% it "doesn't matter". Virtually any CEO of any company would be rightfully fired for this, whether it was an accident or not. It is beyond ridiculous that the POTUS, who should be held to a HIGHER standard, is held to no standard at all.

He's a colossal piece of shit that routinely does and says things that show how lousy his character. And sharing something like this, regardless of whether it was intentional or not, is extremely dangerous and harmful.

I do think intent matters though, even if the net result is the same. And being consistent and honest matters, too. This is being framed as though he shared a disgustingly blatantly racist video, when in fact he shared a stupid ass voted hoax video that he in all likelihood didn't know had a racist frame at the end of it.

If you feel calling this out is rationalizing or defending bad behavior, that's fine, you are entitled to your opinion 👍. I'm just inclined to be honest about the facts- that hes an irresponsible idiot- without misleading about what actually happened.
