No overtime or shootouts during regular season. Ending a hockey game on a shootout is the equivalent of ending a baseball game on a home run derby or a basketball game on a slam dunk competition. Why does a jew fuck lawyer from NY decide to bastardize our game?

Oh, Americans don't like draws, you say? Well guess what, Americans also do not like economic equality and other such ideas.

It's high time the NHL adopt the point system the world over uses for soccer.

3 points is stupid. Every game should be worth the same amount of points. I got no problem with ties.

However, we've decided( me and Matty) that the best solution is to eliminate points altogether, go by wins and keep the shootout. After watching 60 minutes of a wrestling match a shootout is something to look forward to.
 
Without the ABA their would be no 3 point shot in the NBA today! Man, they had great fros back and the colorful ball!

The shootout is getting old quickly for me! Seems like too much luck of the draw that night in getting extra point! Maybe cause the Flyers suck at it! OK, probably cause the Flyers suck at it! I know you do have 5 minutes of overtime but ....... would like the number of OT games that get settled in 5 minutes compared to a shootout?

The 3 points for a win makes sense to me in motivating teams more to look for wins instead of settling for ties! Say towards the end of the year it gives teams behind in the standings greater chance of making playoffs and teams hanging onto playoff spot not playing boring hockey looking for 1 or possibly 2 points!

Get rid of shootout and possibly play the 5 minutes or say 10 minutes of OT with only 4 skaters and a goalie on ice! More room, more goals! No 2 man advantages allowed in OT but 4 on 3 possible! I equate this to the NFL striving to give the offenses greater advantages over the defense in trying to make the game more exciting!

We hate rewarding draws in the US. No points are given in Baseball for extra innings. Win or go home. 2 points win, 0 points loss. OT until a winner, 4 on 4.
