Something just doesn't add up. I had the volume off on the NFL game as I was watching the Oregon game so maybe something was said that I missed. I saw the official signal safety, I saw the repeated highlights of the high-low bloack in the endzone and then I saw the official signal the penalty was declined.

Did the official get it wrong? Did the original official think the penalty started prior to the endzone? Did Harbaugh actually take the points off the board? Did anyone hear what actually happened?

Harbaugh declined. Opted to end the game with a kneel instead of risking injuries/Seattle recovering some kind of goofy onside kick. Gift.

Yeah SMU should never have been getting five points at home against that shitty Houston team. Having said that, they got pretty fucking lucky to have NINE turnovers.

MrMonkey in what universe does that makes sense? You accept the penalty you go up by 9 with 43 seconds left. Noway Seattle recovers and score twice in 43 seconds.

MrMonkey, I think Jimmy Boy had some Seattle +8 himself.

It kinda makes sense to not risk injury by taking the turnover on downs instead of having to return a kick, but yeah. :biglaugh:
