They demolished the White Castle

Got off the subway last night and the local white castle (interior) had been completely demoed. I was completely crushed. I had no idea they were destroying it. Perhaps it is just a renovation. Doubtful though considering the direction the neighborhood is going.

Gonna have some slyders today in memoriam.

we have had quite a few krystals bite the dust around here the last few years...great locations on main roads too...the only way those places dont make serious bank is if the theft is too much to overcome, the absolute piss poor management just buries the place or the outrageous prices run people off...

i can remember when a krystal was .20c ... now a combo runs almost $6 ... when a krystals/white castle cant even compete with mcds/wendys/bk dollar menus, you got some issues...

Was it a dump? Why did they demolish it? They demolished a Krystal close to my work and turn it into a shoe store.

It was a dump. It doesnt look like a renovation as it is completely gutted. I would hazard a guess that something more upscale is coming in (Starbucks, retail, etc.). Never been to a Krystal.
