Cubs are pretty deep so even though it would sting, I think it would be worth it at least in terms of when will the Cubs be in this position again and the answer is you just never know. Marlins will be great in a year or 2, especially if they can collect some pieces, benefits both teams.

Owen Cassie IMO is a No trade regardless of most scenarios. Other than that, go get an arm. I know Boyd has been crazy good and Rea better than expected but it's hard for me to believe that will not regress at some point.

If Suarez is available from Arizona I think it's also worth a look. As good as Shaw has been defensively he's still a year or 2 away I think.
