I bought a Toshiba the other day. Seems I paid more for it than Daffy could get a MacBook in the US for, but I really like it so far. Only downside was the initial set up took almost 3hrs which seemed really bizarre.

Not really PC-related, but I'm addicted to downloading ebooks lately. I haven't actually read one yet. I just like downloading them in case I ever want to.

Actually, some of them are really good reference books for math/stats/econometrics.

What are you looking to do with it, Durito?

I dunno, whatever it is I do.

I guess the only program I really need a PC for at this point is Excel, but I would to set up all my shit properly for once and have a new pc for only work purposes. Keep my databases, and to work on my programming and modeling stuff. Im trying to move past the basic shit I do now.

I have so many. Been downloading pdfs and other scans for free. I used to buy crap at the kindle store. If I ever read all these I might be pretty smart one day.

Well, if you're looking to make trade-offs in the same class of laptop, you could give up a higher quality graphics card for more CPU power and RAM.
