Not my proudest moment but I'll tell it anyway. I was in Florida for a wedding, I wasn't scheduled to be the best man but I was in the wedding party and was scheduled to give a speech, it was for a cousin of mine. I was staying at the DoubleTree and low and behold day of the wedding this car speeds by in the parking lot and covers me in mud. I went over to the Florida Mall and decided to see if I could get a suit real quick, no time to have it properly trimmed but emergency situation. I was trying one on that was a moderately acceptable fit and the guy measuring me walked off. I was really tight on time and I waited 5, 10, 15 minutes so I figured screw it nobody ever gets caught shoplifting the 1st time, right? I casually removed the tags and the security device and the coast looked clear. I was walking out the door like anyone else and immediately a mall cop pulls up and advises me to get in the car before he "calls the real police". They brought me in the back office and said to "wait for the head of department". Daffy comes in, I had never met him before but had seen some videos making picks, etc. online. I asked for a moment with him and told him I am Bacon online and he said that he appreciated my work and that we could see what we could do. He brought the other guys in and it was like everyone was hanging out and that I wasn't in trouble. I said I had to get going and Daft explained to that them that I was a cool guy so let's work something out. The agreement that was made was me paying double for the suit for whatever reason and no charges pressed. Everything worked out with the wedding, etc. thanks to Daffy clearing that up, I haven't spoken to him since except on here.
