Sad RJ but without Dunder thread appears to have no legs! Look at this statement from an article!

Formula 1 last raced in America at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2007, but it's what happened the year before that that did lasting damage to the sport's image. After a problem with the tires used by most of the teams, only six cars started the race.

The management of Formula 1 seems to have a greater commitment to America this time around.

It's even planning a second U.S. Grand Prix on the streets of New Jersey in 2014.The track ownership in Austin signed a 10-year contract, proving a commitment to make Formula 1 a success deep in the heart of Texas.

Did anyone watch this? Was it a good race?

I wanted to see it but had to go do the weekend visits to the plant and the wells before going off to play golf so I missed it. Will search tomorrow to see if there is a replay available online while at work.

Yes, watched parts of it Wally! Liked the neat effect the track had with the red color boundary outlining the race course! The Brits in attendance were happy when Hamilton took over the lead! I think Alonzo is still in contention for the title with the last event in Brazil?

Amazing how many engineers each team has just sitting behind a computer screen going over whatever the hell it is they are doing to help the driver! Way beyond Nascar it appears scientifically when looking into things to make the car go faster!
