Jesus fok people, Oksie wanted to get a sense of how many people here were funded there, if any, presumably so she could quietly warn them about the book's imminent fate.

Such a shame that a couple of days after, your employers decide to help rip off customers who play there.

I'm sorry you believe that I'd still work somewhere that knowingly supported a stiff book during my time there. I'm one of the few employees there who even gambles. Despite SBR paying me very well for the admittedly loser job I do, I'd make more fading Brock for a month and be able to sleep better at night than watch other gamblers get fucked over. Anyway, I knew what I was getting into when I first took that job 2+ yrs ago and Breadipoo warned me I'd get nailed over here if anything ever went wrong. I don't mind although the lack of the benefit of the doubt is a bit hurtful. I'm probably just pms'ing tho so it'll pass. But I'll still keep my fingers crossed that some white knight comes in and saves the day for those posted up there no matter how unlikely that is.
 
I never dealt with BetIslands, I did visit their site a couple of times and immediately noticed the resemblance to Jazz Sports, this made me lose interest.

Same thing with Alliance sports, they look alot like Jazz and I couldn't bring myself to open an account with them.

As for Oksana, she is in a tough spot, damned if she does and damned if she doesn't.

When I log off facebook I usually deactivate my account - logging in reactivates it. I never got a chance to see her messages to me.
I will say I appreciate her attempt to give me a "heads up".

I don't agree with giving Oksana a hard time about the BI situation.

I am very curious to know how many SBR posters will get banned for discussing topics they would rather avoid.

I'm not giving her a hard-time about it, or blaming her.

I just find it hard to believe that she saw the signs of the book collapse coming, yet her colleagues, who arguably are more informed about the CR sportsbook scene, didn't even know about the problems BI were having and took no action until yesterday. Which was after a poster revealed a lot of information.

Not that it matters now obviously but I was just replying to your msg to me asking what this thread was about and what I felt you should do based on my admittedly very pea sized brain. But either way, it would've been too late I guess. Looking at SSLP's thread over at SBR now he's been gone from BI for a few weeks so my whole intent was useless. Posters at SBR would've been ahead of anyone here requesting a payout anyway. I just really felt like something was wrong, reading certain things rang alarm bells and I wanted to see if anyone here played there so I could at least share what I thought. Then I could get some feedback from guys playing there and try to get info. Whether or not you acted on it would've been your choice obviously. Very naive of me to even start this thread at all I guess. Thought I'd be able to help but it was way too late.

I was being a wiseass prior to knowing what was happening with BetIslands. I questioned Oksy's intentions with the thread as a joke before I learned today what was going on.

I'll not pile on after the fact. I may have questions but if I ask them now it will not be seen as curiosity only I'll will which it wouldn't be.

Yeah I know. I'm not sure wtf that means. "It has been weeks since I left my position as the GM for Betislands"

I'm just hoping a book comes to everyone's rescue. Not sure who would even bother with 1.5million of debt but you'd know better than I if there's any chance of that happening.
 
No one wants those accounts, so I would highly doubt it.
