Not accusing them of anything shady. They have always been upfront and honest. I went in there with eyes wide open and I did profit overall from the experience.

But wow. Getting your money out of there is really something to behold.

They only have two methods of withdrawal. Western Union (max $1000 at a time) and Moneygram (max $850). No book-to-book. No nothing else.

So I played for awhile and finally ran up a balance and decided to cash out.

Total withdrawal = $7991 usd

Total fees (including currency conversions) = $857 usd

To be fair, if you don't count the currency conversions, the fees were a mere $577. The process took about 6 weeks and 9 separate trips to WU and MG outlets.

Again, they are not deceptive about any of this. I am not accusing them of malfeasance.

Just reporting the news.

Wow at those fees. I'm afraid it's going to become a lot more commonplace in the near future with "payment processors" shying away from offshore bookies.

I do anything to avoid having to use WU but sometimes it's the most convenient option so you just gotta say "Fuck it, that 100% bonus is worth standing in line there and risking my life for 10 minutes. Just stay calm and look dangerous."

Maybe it's just me.

I can't believe how easy it is to put money into one of these sites and how difficult it is to get money out. You can put money in from your credit card but have to jump through hoops and wait forever in order to get money out.

Matty, its that dangerous in QC nowadays?

Sir, you will be safe once you arrive in Toronto.

I'm glad I'll never have to step in that one particular WU outlet again. Smack in the middle of the seediest part of town and part of a building that's otherwise a brothel complex (lolz at the Hotel sign). I may have grown up in a poor hood but this place makes me feel completely inadequate.

Never been there Rogatien - I'm a whore virgin Rogatien.

And I don't know that it is widely known as a brothel even though the surrounding shops and neighborhood are a dead giveaway - you can check reviews of the "hotel" on Google and outside those obvious self-reviews by the staff, most everyone is amazed by the dirt cheap prices, with only a handful of people realizing what kinda place they've stepped into. lolz

Then you got that one door that advertises "bedrooms for tourists" as opposed to, you know, hotel rooms for travelers.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

nice reviews...

"It is a brothel!‎"
"It is actually a brothel!!!‎"
"Disgusting"

"I do not recommend this hotel for Young singles, An amazing honeymoon, A romantic getaway, Girlfriend getaway, People with disabilities, Older travelers, Great pool scene, Pet owners, Families with young children, Families with teenagers, Tourists"

My boyfriend at the time booked this hotel for our Valentine's-week holiday. He booked everything and assured me it was going to be a great place. My biggest thing is cleanliness, and this place did not deliver. I was grossed out first by the washroom. We could hear people having sex (loud and clear) through the paper-thin walls. When we found out our stove in the kitchenette didn't work, we asked to be moved (we had to go down the hall, down the stairs, out the building, around the corner, up the stairs and waited to be buzzed in to the lobby. You know the hotel is in an unsafe area when you have to be buzzed in to the lobby during rush hour).

We were given a new room a floor up from the first. So back around the corner, etc, etc. When we got up to the new room, the bathroom was just as grungy and the bed had pubic hairs in it. We again demanded a new room. The third room was down the hall from the original. When we tried the door, it had been chained from the inside and someone said "Hello?" from the dark. At that point I decided we were finding a new hotel.

Being Valentine's Day, we had to stay there one night as there were no other rooms to be had at a reasonable rate. The night we slept at this place I kept all my daytime clothes on for fear of touching the linens - so much for a romantic Valentine's Day! The next day we booked into the Travelodge, which was slightly smaller, but had the cleanliness standard I expect. It was only $100 more for the week and still close to everything. And best of all, we weren't given an already-occupied room!

:lmao:

I don't know how you can walk up to that place and not immediately realize that this ain't no ordinary Holiday Inn. And I thought I was a naive person. lolz

Rogatien we suck at keeping threads on topic.

Good job Skybook, kinda.
