The US has tariffs on imported sugar so that the farmers can grow corn in the US. If the climate in the US was suitable for sugar production no one would be using HFCS. We basically eat what the government want us to eat.

high in unhealthy fatty acids, hard to digest and virtually no nutritional value at all found in corn... but man sometimes you just have to cover that shit with a ton of butter, salt and pepper and go to fucking town
