56 is way too young to die

Imagine what this guy might have come up with with another 25 years tacked on?

I know he allegedly had a rare form of pancreatic cancer but I'm pretty sure that his incredible wealth bought him an extra 6-8 years

If Daft get pancreatic cancer he dies in 3-6 months not 7-8 years

Lets not forget that Daft would also leave behind a better looking corpse.

iPad is way too expensive for this furious typist. Cool gadget but not useful enough for the price. I would like to try a $199 Kindle Fire though.

I basically use my ipad as nothing more than a kindle. Only use it to read, or if im out and my phone and laptop run out of battery i pull it out. Kind of dumb.

You can look cool pavy.

Apple must have some hypnotic shit going on. 2 years ago Id never touched one. Now I have like 5 plus ipad and iphone and am at the moment doing most all my work on my old sony PC laptop. Why did I buy all this crap?

The main problem I have with MacBook besides the price is it's not compatible with the drafting and engineering software we use at work. Sometimes I stay at home to work via VPN and it doesn't make any sense for me to have a Macbook that is completely different than what I use at work. Yes they are cool but a cool cat like me can't use them for work.

I will say this. I have no idea how to add contacts in my fucking phone. I just have a bunch of numbers. I'm texting like five bishes and I know I'm going to make a mistake with one of them soon. It's only a matter of time.

Go to Contacts and then just hit the little + at the top of the screen. Or do it from the Phone icon if you've managed to delete the Contacts one.

I got an Acer laptop, got it on on sale for like $250 after someone spilled beer on my old HP.
does what I need, worth every bit of $250, still kicking going on about 2 yrs now

never used any of the Apple products so cant compare

My opinion of Apple products has always been... If you need your hand held while you're using a computer, get a Mac. You end up paying for the support that you'd need on a PC upfront when you purchase the overpriced hardware, however. Not good economics.

If you stop talking about Apple products, I bet you'll stop hearing about people's dislike for them.

I'm sorry, do you live in the South Florida area? Have we met around town and I was going on and on about Apple? The only time I talk about Apple products in my real life is when someone asks me about it. I'm not Apple FanBoy on patrol spreading the sacred word of Mac.

I think I've mentioned Apple products twice on this board in the last 18 months. Give me a break.
