Should I go to my 20th high school reunion?

It's soon. I just got the final reminder in the mail (I never got the first reminder).


I was in the non-conformist crowd in high school. I guess this could be sort of a suprise to some. So, I wasn't like super popular and therefore this is definitely not a no-brainer.


Would you go if the reunion was within 10 miles like it is in my case?

I wouldn't go. I still live fairly close to my high school and I have seen many notices about various reunions and website shit in the ~30 years since I graduated. I've never had any interest in any of it.

I still have a good friend I went to high school with and about 3 more I see once in awhile. But other than them I can't think of who I would even talk to.

Muddy I was thinking of rounding up the 5 or 6 people that I still keep in touch with and going AS A GROUP with them. This way we can kind of WOLF PACK our way in and sort of snicker at everyone as a group and we can disguise our own insecurities.

they are having a 15 year reunion for my class this year.

I'm not sure why. from what I heard the 10 year reunion just had all the people of my old po dunk hometown of oil city, that still lived there show up.

the other 70% moved off for greener pastures and don't come back too much.

but still, i'd go if it wasn't so far away

Potato's 5th year H.S. reunion is coming up.

Going to be a "bar crawl + potluck at a local park"

Only people responding to the invites are nerds he doesn't want to fly back and see.

His graduating class was 669.

Plus the Gold Cup Final is that day and he plans on attending that instead.

Potato's country needs him more than his H.S.
