Lynyrd Skynyrd backing vocalist JoJo Billingsley refused to take the flight because she had a premonition about it. The night before the crash, Billingsley had a vivid dream where she saw the plane smack into the ground, with people screaming and crying as it burst into flames. When she woke up, she was so shaken that she told her mother about the dream, saying "Mama, it's too real!"
