Kind of along the lines of what you said Durito is the reason I force myself to live by my 3.5 rule. If I don't have at least a 3.5 advantage over the actual line then I pass. My question was more for those who get caught up in playing with a feeling over an edge. Obviously if you cap a game out and it's right on the number there is no advantage either way and should be a pass.

The thing to do is to shop around for those elusive -2.5's and +3.5's when the market consensus is 3. This is easier said than done around the 3 in the NFL but if you fund a bunch of square and local shops like durito does, you will have regular access to those off-market numbers. Feeling it in your bones can then become a profitable bet.

This place needs a I'm-feeling-it-in-my-bones smiley. Not sure how that would look.
