honestly, i think white guys love the novelty of an asian woman and, in the beginning, treat them much better than asian men do... ...from what i understand, and this is coming from viet women, the majority of failed viet relationships are due to the men cheating and being bad drunks ...viet men are well known for stepping out...now, you might say "but isnt this with all failed relationships, regardless of race? ) which is what i asked... but Buddhism revolves so much around forgiveness and understanding and there are very few things that practicing buddist (which the majority of viets are) wont try to reconcile or fix in a relationship...but cheating is definite grounds for divorce.
again, this is obviously 2nd hand info... the group of 50ish or so viets that i have met and occasionally hang out with, fit in this scenario... some are remarried or dating their ex's friends, yet are still good friends with their ex... and some date white guys who dont really like to be around the group...i seem to have gotten along much much better with everyone than other whiteys in the past have, i guess..lolz
i have a small, but good, asian clientele that started this basketball season and i get invited to a lot of outings by them and new friends ive met through the ex... outings = house parties on sunday nights (because a lot of nail shops are closed on mondays..haha) and special events... me and the ex still hang out once a week or so and usually its for dinner and drinks at one of our friends that i met through her...
maybe pico can chime in with some chinese theories on the subject
