As I have said, Honeycrisp is my usual apple. Expensive apple. About $1.50 per apple. Not insane but notable.

This Jazz apple was 90 cents. It is quite a bit smaller than a typical Honeycrisp though.


Honeycrisp are not always available at my store though. Fallback position is usually either Granny Smith or else Cripps Pink (if I want to express my gang affiliations through my choice of apple.)

Some apples are too big. Even if it tastes great,once you take that 1st bite you have to commit to the whole apple. Recently I've been seeing these HUGE apples at some of the fruit and veggie stores... A family of 4 could snack off of one of those fuckers.
