Oh damn! When/how are you going to do the actual proposal? I want to see a picture of this beast.

I'm going to Quebec City with the woman next Thursday and I wanted to do it there, so I was hoping to have the ring done by Wednesday, but it looks like it's not going to happen now :sad: I have yet to receive the setting, it's still in LA.

Well that sucks. Got a plan B?

Boss's wife proposed to lend me her ring.

Plan B is to jam the stone in the ring myself and hope for the best.

Now where's my hammer.

Is there anywhere that does settings on site? I know there is at least one jeweler store here that does it right at the store. You can even walk around the store and watch them through the big windows.

There is a whole neighborhood of diamond dealers and setters here, like a shitty version of NYC's, but I don't know how fast they work. I'm running there as soon as I get the goods.

This all goes back to that 1st Fed Ex guy blowing off Matty's legitimate concerns so he could move on with his day.

I'm calling shannannigans on that guy.

Bananas and coffee. Doesn't feel like they should go together but ----> yes.

I was just eating a banana and had a whole mushy mouthful and suddenly, for some reason, I took a big gulp of coffee on top of it. It was all in there at the same time - and I thought, no, you shouldn't have done that - it's one thing to be consuming them in the same general timeframe - but they aren't actually supposed to be together.

But it was good.

I never see banana/coffee flavored stuff out there such as ice cream. You see all kinds of mixed flavors. You see chocolate/peanut butter. You see strawberry/vanilla. But not banana/coffee.

But I'm saying ----> yes.

Muddy, what kind of coffee are you drinking? how many cups a day? how do you make it (sugar, milk?), how fast do you drink it?

I like Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee, a habit Steve's father got us on. I drink one to two cups a day, with half a tbs of sugar and some flavored cream. Some times I sip on it for hours, other times I down with in minutes and want more. I prefer it iced in the winter, there was a coffee shop in bellefonte that had the best iced coffee, their ice cubes were coffee!

I drink Tim Horton's coffee, about 7-8 mugs a day, with half & half cream.

I don't know how to rate my drinking speed. My coffee doesn't get cold, I'll say that.
