I love my sodastream thingy.

Who knows about cost savings? It's not a big difference in either direction, but it tastes great and the syrup containers last a long time, so you're almost never out. Super-freshly carbonated and real sugar tastes great, I guess? The all-natural root beer is awesome.

Does it save money in the long run? its like 90- 130$ for the machine then you have to replace the cartridges and syrup. I drink a ton of coconut water and alot of caffeine free diet sodas. This looks really good and very few calories in most of the drinks even the non diet ones, I could actually drink root beer instead of that diet crap , but do you save any money?

Amazing how close that is to a random thought I was just having. Perhaps I'll expand on that in the fullness of time.


My answer to the question as asked can only be: it would depend on the quality of the thread. Like if I could control who was in the thread, yes, definitely. This very thread could be a wonderful refuge for me under those conditions. But if it's just a public thread where obnoxious people are constantly jumping in and blabbing away indiscriminately----> much less appealing.
