Not a Random Thought but a random happening

I was just sitting in my car eating and Gamelive posting in a Publix parking lot and a woman carrying groceries and flowers fully opened my drivers side door.

Startled the shit out of both of us. She came from the direction I wasn’t facing. We both had a good laugh after that.

Cars are so similarly nondescript now, super easy to confuse with each other. I often mistake other cars for mine when walking back out of a big box store (or I think "wait, this isn't my car" when it in fact is.)

One time I witnessed my wife walking away from kiddo and I as we were all coming out of a store together. She stopped next to a compact white SUV and gave us a puzzled look:

Me - Where are you going?
Wife - To our car? Is this not our car?
Me - That is a Hyundai. We drive a Nissan.
Wife - Oh, lol.
