While Philly holds an edge in head to head in the past 10 meetings, I have Dallas as a slight edge on home ice. Slight doesn't eguate to a play but then none of these are plays until January and more importantly, I know jack squat about hockey.

Recommendation: Panaccio noted that "while it's not 100 percent certain, all signs point to the Flyers' concussed center returning to the lineup Wednesday night." The center believes if he participates in pre-game warm-ups, that he will play. Giroux's teammates believe he will play and the center took some hits in practice Tuesday. Stay tuned, but those in daily leagues will want to get Giroux back in their lineups with just six games in the league Wednesday.

Yesterday was the first real sigh that maybe things are getting dialed in. Course it could have just been a lucky coincidence.

Today's Qualifiers:

Ny Rangers -1.5 (+165)
Nashville (-175) would never pay this much juice
Detroit -1.5 game isn't listed yet
Minnesota/Edmonton UNDER 5 (-110)
Anaheim/LA Kings UNDER 5.5 (-145)
 
Last couple of days the hockey plays have started to come around. Could be luck, could be variance or could be that things are getting close to settling down and the numbers are starting to work. Tempted to start playing the games but already broke my promise to myself about college hoops so I will stick to it for hockey.


Today's Qualifiers:

Florida/Boston UNDER 5 (-125) Not in-love with this one.
Vancouver -1.5 (+120) Do like this one a lot.
 
Tuesday 12-27-11 Qualifiers:

Philadelphia -1.5 (+195)
Florida -1.5 (+230)
Detroit (-155)
Montreal (+110)
Philly/Tampa OVER 5.5 (-125)
Toronto/Florida UNDER 5.5 (-125)

Couple of things here.

1) Playing the under and expecting Florida to hit -1.5 is something I really wouldn't do.
2) As tempting as it is I probably wouldn't have high hopes of a -1.5 (+195) or better to have any better shot than a money line of (+220) or better.
 
Neither yet Tully.

I'm just posting what qualifies as plays but haven't yet started betting the games. I will start betting them in January. As for watching I haven't been watching and normally don't watch unless there is nothing else on.
