I'm not sure what to do here. He's given a 1.4 WAR value right now, but 3.3 when extrapolated to 200 innings pitched. I'm not even sure how he can be anything other than a 0 since he's never played in the majors, but ok.

If I use 1.4 the play is Cubs. If I use 3.3 it's a no-play.

I'd imagine the earliest Skenes will have a 200 inning season will be 2026. That probably doesn't solve your dilemma, though.
 
Without doing any research but only my own "baseball" thoughts, hitters tend to struggle against a new arm that they've not seen. Listened to some interviews with him and he was preparing against the Minor Leaguers as if he were facing MLB batters. They were working on mixing up pitches even if they knew he could overpower the majority. I lean towards under 1st 5 and could see them pulling him early to avoid hitters seeing him the third time through.

I didn’t get to see much of the game, but it seems like he uses the fastball more to strike out hitters and not early in the count. My under 3.5 F5 and under 7 for the game were big facepalms.

I tell ya I looked at that under 3.5 and almost pulled the trigger on it.

That game was just lunacy in so many ways
