The Americans sent their "B" team to fight the British and lost, otherwise Toronto would be a city within the State of Ontario and part of the USA.

It was after the War of 1812 that the British and Americans settled the international boundary bewtween Canada /USA - ie the 49th parallel.

• Casper got lucky on Skype today
• America ransacked York

Just sayin, it's been somewhat productive.

Thats exactly what they did, they didn't take the threat of Canada and the British seriously and got their ass whooped.

No way the British/Canadians could have fought the US and won vs the full force of the US military even back then.


There is a shitload of US/Canadian history all throughout the New England area, Quebec, Ontario, New York and Pennsylvania.

We share more in common in the north east than anywhere else on the continent.
