I was just over at FoxSports' website making my annual visit to them to get a nice printable bracket. Lo and behold in their menu for each sport "Odds" is now an option taking you to a line service page powered by OddsShark but branded with the Fox Sports logo. 5Dimes and Bodog were on there too, which surprised me because I expected to see Vegas lines a la VegasInsider.

How long has this been the case? I confess I'm a CBS devotee and never really visit ESPN or Fox. Does ESPN have something similar? Makes me wonder if Fox is an affiliate for Bodog, and draws a revenue stream from sign-ups through their site. This is the same kind of crazy stuff that was going on just before the medical marijuana industry got legs and I wonder if now would be a good time to gain a foothold in a business related to gambling.

It was more profound before. Espn used to have odds from sportsbook.com, sbg, & betus. I believe the sporting news had to pay a large fine for having spotsbook adds, so kind of surprised its still going on.

Maybe the U.S. government needs to sue Fox Soccer Channel for showing me all these gambling ads at the soccer games I watch on that channel.
