Kindle is made out of plastic, glass, gold, minerals for the batteries etc. So in order to produce it a lot of energy is spent like burning oil and digging in mines for the minerals which are not recyclable. Trees are recyclable and others said can be replanted. Can you replant oil or lithium? I don't thick so.

Eventually the world will run short.
I think things such as papers and computers are a small concerne in comparison to the uprising of
