I have looked through quite a lot of Ganchrows old stuff.
Whilst he made the mathematical elements way more complex than they needed to be at times, there is no doubt that he was a huge loss to the forum.

Absolutely. I should add that I still don't grasp entirely many of hist posts. Just that they pointed me in the right direction in terms of ideas. Justin7 pointed me in the right direction more practically, ie what types of bets one should be making with a small bankroll, etc.

I have to say though that it does give a great insight into the psyche of some people.

For a couple of years I was on the other side of the counter, so degenerateness don't surprise me, but what I see with SBR points still amazes me.
