I think Nash is better than Lupul but you have to factor in the salary difference.

Carter Ashton should be a solid player in 2 years for Toronto.

Giving up Auie for Ashton is a very good deal. Toronto is loaded with D prospect and overall D depth. I love this deal - long term for the Leafs. I see Ashton developing into a solid 2nd line power forward.

The reason why Chicago had a major sell off after their Stanley Cup win is because Stan Bowman (acting on orders by likely Tallon) was supposed to file the paper work for RFA's, but he missed it by a day which made his RFA's, UFA's. This was the summer (July) before they won the cup. Tallon was always blamed for this by people "not in the know." It got out that it was Bowman, but Tallon still took it in the ass and kept his mouth shut. Tallon is the guy who assembled that Stanley Cup team and I'm glad he was finally allowed to get his name on the Cup and a ring. It was well deserved. Bowman will be fired in the off season. The only reason why he is there is because his Daddy (winner of 9 Cups) is a consultant for the team.

Hawks are a lifeless team right now and may miss the playoffs all together.
