The Kostitsyn brothers are reunited in Nashville and Montreal gets a 2nd round pick + the 5th round conditional pick they'd given up earlier in the Hal Gill trade. Whatever. Good riddance. Never cared for the K brothers.

Rumors are sending Joffrey Lupul to Columbus in return for Rick Nash. Toronto fans seem to be okay with this for some reason. Can't believe they'd want to break up the Kessel/Lupul duo. Who knows if Nash will work as well in the same role? Stupid trade if it happens IMO.

I heard the Leafs were very close to completing a deal, but not shure who it's with.

I'd hate to see the Leafs trade Lupul. Guy is have a killer year. The Leafs need a G. They have enough offense to get it done. BB woudl be NUTS to include Jake Gardiner in any deal. It's should be an interesting afternoon.

Vokoun was asked to leave practice. Guy has a no-trade clause though and he wasn't asked to waive it. Some rumors are sending him to Nashville.

Nash is a top 10 player. Lupul is barely top 20, just having a good year, and he's injury prone.

Nashville don't need Voukoun unless they are going to send one of their G packing in aanother deal or is working out a 3 way deal.

I don't see how columbus could get rid of both Carter and Nash though.

I think Nash is better than Lupul but you have to factor in the salary difference.

Carter Ashton should be a solid player in 2 years for Toronto.

Winick to SJ, saw him play a lot when he was at UNH, guy can score, and with Pavelski and Thornton
Should get some better opportunities.
