I was initially leaning under on that game as well but Brodeur is in net and these two teams scored 7 goals last time they played so not total for me, plus 5 is a number I like to avoid in totals, too many pushes.

Apparently the ice and weather in NYC is perfect for todays game.

I'm on the Rangers, only because Brodeur is starting for NJ.

I don't think it is just the ice quality in these games plommer. Everything is off for these guys. The sight lines, the sky, the distance from the fans etc.


I have taken the under in pretty much every winter classic 'outdoor' game. I can easily see it being 3-2 or 4-1, but I doubt they get up to 6 goals... But hey, we have all been very wrong before.
