FINALLY!

The Leafs are signing born and bred Torontonians and Maple Leaf fans!

"The Leafs re-signed Bozak and added David Clarkson—perhaps the most prized free-agent forward available—in a pair of deals on Friday, the first day of unrestricted free agency in the NHL"

"Clarkson — a huge Wendel Clark fan growing up in TORONTO! — is a rugged winger with the ability to score 30 goals in a full season.

Clarkson’s deal is said to be a seven-year deal worth $36.75 million."

disagree. philly is weak defensively, very weak, emery will be under alot of pressure, i think he will shit the bed on a crappy team like the flyers, well see.

You make a valid point about Philly's weak D, but one would have to assume that Homer is trying to fix his backend. He cannot start the season with the D he has right now.

I've wanted Clarkson on this team for the last 3 years. This guy changes the face of the leafs in a big way. We still need a bona fide banger of a Dman. Losing out on Scuderi and even Ference is a shame, but no doubt Nonis is looking to bolster our backend via trade.

Good times in Leaf land. Clarkson has the potential to become as big as Wendel was. Tough, but it is possible. The fans will love this guy. I am super pumped!!! I couldn't imagine how the Habs feel now that Toronto has gotten bigger and will certainly be a heck of a lot tougher to play against.

Good times!!!

Pucky, nevermind the Flyers, how about the Leafs?

Getting bigger again this off season.

Playing Montreal is gonna be alot more fun.

Montreal will not stand a chance against Toronto. Despite the game 7 meltdown, the way we played against Boston will carry through to start the season.

The Leafs are going to be a nasty team to play against.
