IAG, looks like our deck setup! Can't see steps but from my keen observation of the deck area I'm presuming steps aren't cleared of snow? If so only critique is not at least shoveling the step area clear of snow so Pogo doesn't slip down them and breaks his neck!

my former dog hated the snow, I used to have to shovel him out a little area in the yard...that dog was such a brat lol.

Only at night so that mom does not trip over him in the dark.

He goes in there quite a bit of his own volition.

I do not feed him in the crate.

He usually goes out 2-3 x a day....when I first let him out of kennel in the morning, mid afternoon and before bed.

You have fine perception skills, but there is only one step so Pogo is not at much risk...but I will get on it. Deck needs to be redone. My dad built this house 47 years ago....you can tell the age by the paneling.. Where do you live again Mr. M?

Isn't that enough? He has never peed in the house...oops wait once I think....he will tell me if he has to go. Smart dog that Pogo. Before he was diagnosed diabetic and was receiving insulin, he would go more often.

No, I am just surprised, every dog I ever have had loved being outside and want to be let out numerous times a day, mostly just to play, but still, I was just surprised.
