This is a good topic.

One of the guys I work with has Ghostbusters in his top 10 movies all-time, in fact I think it might be #1. All of his top 10 movies are comedies. He's a guy that likes to laugh. He has kind of a stupid laugh. His laugh would not be out of place as the third laugh with Beavis and Butthead. He laughs at a lot of stuff I don't find funny. That is not an unusual experience for me. I have a sophisticated sense of humor and there is a lot of stuff in this world that is considered hilarious that doesn't get a smile out of me. Mel Brooks and Blake Edwards come to mind. A zillion other things.

I guess it must be nice to find just about every attempt at humor to actually be funny. Laughing is a good thing. Laughing is enjoyable. Yet for some reason I am not jealous of people who laugh at every stupid thing and therefore have more laughter in their life than me. I am not looking to trade places.

I can't decide if that is shallow or deep of me.

Posters what kind of humor you have? Does simple acts makes you laugh? Slapstick? Do you value more sophisticated jokes? Are the simpletons happier?

Not sure what kind of humor I have. If it's funny, I laugh, if it's not, I don't.

Mildly amusing. Both here imo, easygoing enough to enjoy slapstick but probably more sophisticated and intelligent than anyone who has ever existed so easy to appreciate those as well.

I like it all. Very similar to beer. I love a good IPA, bitter, complex, enjoy it most hours later after you've moved on. However sometimes I find comfort and enjoy myself just as much slamming a couple Budweisers and indulging in the lowest common denominator.

I miss playing pool. Had a table at a previous job, and it was our go-to after-school activity in HS.

I heart pool, we try to go and play every weekend, and now me every Monday night. Eventually we will have our own table.
Saw one on craigslist last summer, nice one, regulation size, for only $50 bux, we ended up passing on it and now I am kicking myself in the ass for it.

Pool opponentry is interesting. You think you're getting really good and then you run into some old dude with a custom designed breaking stick that "plays the occasional tournament"
