His fight or flight response completely took over and he went full FLIGHT
I had a conversation just this past weekend about how weird it is that ANY mention of Hitler by a celebrity brings huge backlash along with it.
He did not call Obama Hitler. Not even close.
Stupid.
yep, if i had a nickel for each time someone used the hitler/nazi reference either directly towards me or towards sbr, well, i'd probably only have about 10 extra bucks. hell, lou made that very reference when he was simply poster crazyl and didn't like sbr john's decision to get rid of animated avatars.
but my point is the references or comparisons are 99.99% borne from ignorance. it wasn't a good comparison for hank junior to use, certainly others he could've chosen to denote the chasm in political ideologies between president obama and senator boehner. pretty damn silly, and i can't help but think espn saw its actions from a publicity standpoint. if that was the case, espn is more guilty than if hank junior had come right out and said he thought hitler was a great guy.
I'm not quite sure why celebrities think its a good idea to go on a show like that and preach their political ignorance anyway. It can only get you in trouble.
The guy supported Sarah Palin last election. Outside of a few right-wing nutjobs, can anyone with any sense actually take his opinions seriously?
Archie, who is that great looking dude in your avatar pal?
Archaaaay! You wanna fukk him don't you?
Or maybe you want Big Al to do him while you watch?
