I noticed a pretty significant decline in looks I would get in public from younger, attractive women right around the age the author suggests.

Only because you didn't whip out your wallet.

Personally I like older men. It is about where you go though....you don't want to be seen as the creepy old guy hanging out at a place occupied with young twenty somethings.

Not in North America, but in 3rd world countries it's perfectly acceptable.

I take it personally because as a 39 year old male I don't like fat pasty feminists writing bullshit for the sake of making themselves feel better.

If I wrote that 39 year old women were invisible because of physical factors, the article would be considered mysoginistic and spiteful.

I also hate knowing she gets paid to write such crap.
