Meet my asshole neighbour

This guy parks his car in 4/5ths of the parking spot where I put my bike. The landlord is not supposed to split his spot like that, but he does and I pay $50 a month for the privilege to park inside a 3' wide slice of downtown real estate. Decent deal.

Issue is, Car Guy's been parking progressively closer to my bike and well beyond the area that's taped up as a divider of sorts. This morning his car was resting right against my footpeg.

I've never ever seen this guy and his car tends to stay in the very same position for weeks at a time.

Thought about leaving a note but I don't know how to sound diplomatic and not overly whiny.

Part of me thinks he's just hoping for my bike to crash onto his hood so he can get money out of my insurer to upgrade his POS Hyundai.

WTF is wrong with people.

Tape's gone actually, what you see is leftover bits from the adhesive.

Putting some tape back on there is not a bad idea though.

Run the tape from where you can see the remnants straight across and over his hood. Or just replace the tape and leave the remainder of the roll sitting on your seat where he can see it. The latter is probably the better idea. The first would be more fun.
