Need your advice. I realize Daft is the local authority on all things Apple but objectivity is required here.

I want an IPhone 5. I don't need an IPhone 5, I don't need a new phone period but I want a new phone. At the moment I flush with money to burn. Money I should (and most rationale people would) put into savings but money that isn't going there and money that is gonna get spent regardless so I might as well get something now that I don't need before I do need it and don't have it.

Matty do I want an IPhone 5?

On a side note. I was also looking at getting a IPad mini. I just sold (practically gave) my IPad to a guy at work whose wife wanted one for Christmas but couldn't afford one. I didn't use it that much except when I go on trips and occasionally when I go golfing so getting rid of it wasn't a big deal. So now I want another one and the mini seems like a reasonable option. Well, reasonable as reason goes with my train of thought in this thread and at this time in my life.

So Verizon has the mini for $459 and while I thought that was high compared to the price of the full size IPad I was like, oh well. Then I see the exact same model is only $329 at Best Buy. So FOK Verizon, if I buy a IPad mini I will buy it at Best Buy.

Matty, do I want an IPad mini?

I would guess The verizon one has mobile internet, and the best buy one only wifi for those prices.

I will check with them when I stop in after golf tomorrow. Even if that's the case though if I get the IPhone it'll be my hot spot and if I don't I already have a stand alone hot spot so in either case I don't need the mobile part on the mini just he normal wifi.

Plom's, I have been to the hobby shop 8 days in a row and 2 of those days twice in the same day. I have spent $3900 ( I wish I could tell you this was an exaggeration but it's not ) on RC's and things that go with RC's like specialty tools, extra parts, repairs ( yeah first week and already repairs but only one was my fault ) paints, and other related miscellaneous items pertaining to RC's.

I have only just discovered my love of RC's but I have long since known of my love of sex. If I started with sex again it would be more than I have spent this week in RC's. Plommer, I'm done with sex.

I have an iPhone 4 and an Ipad 3, but since you are dead to me (you know why Wally) I guess I shouldn't offer my advice.

Typing this on my iPad mini. The thing is getting more use than my laptop. It's my main reading device, and my guitar amplifier.

You want the mini. Get 32gb at least, shit fills up fast.

No get the iPad 3 or 4. I really like my iPad. I don't think I could handle a smaller one plus I don't think the mini has retinal display like the 3 or 4 ipad does. I think Apple plan on releasing a new ipad mini with retinal display soon though.
 
I don't like the full-size iPad, I find awkward to handle. The mini is more like an oversized iPhone 5, it's super thin and light.

The mini's screen does look a bit grainy if you look at it real close. Whatever.

Great little device.
