haha I'm definitely no Doctor

just grew up with a shrink mother who would harp on this every time she was dealing with a patient who was trying to overcome alcohol addiction in one aspect or another. Or if I was whining about feeling like shit after a massive Tuesday night on the turps

she was an effective harper :)
 
yeah, caffeine will raise your blood pressure short term, but there are no documented long term effects. i didnt have any today before i went in to see the doc, and im definitely going to cut back on my caffeine intake over the next few weeks to see if that does anything.

Same here, except I grew up with an ER doc. And trust me I've been back and forth on this salt causes high blood pressure thing over the years. It's so engrained in people's minds, but there's never been a study that shows any link. I found it hard to accept as well, but at some point you just have to trust the people who dedicate their lives to knowing this kind of shit.

like the other day when oksana had the penne in her nose i had what i thought was a hair in my throat. 3 days later it was still there, i looked in the mirror and there was a white bump down there, no hair. looked kinda of scary, thought about making a doctors appt, instead searched on internet. internet says its nothing, you can get it out with cue tip. took 3 days but i got the fucker. no doctors.
 
Maybe sometimes (I dont know because Im not a doctor)but I've had heart palpitations no less than 4 times in my life and I've never been remotely close to having high BP

MF'r, you sure you want a WAR this close to happy hour on a Friday?

Yeah man when I dislocated finger a couple years ago the hot nurse was worried about my BP, though that was before she put it back in place. After it was placed back she said my BP was not in the worry zone anymore but that I should keep an eye on it and also she was hot.

Haha. Nah. I'm just reporting what happens to me. Whatever your body goes through in nicotine withdrawal (or whatever other crap is in cigarettes), is pretty damn intense. Especially if you've been a heavy smoker for a sustained period of time...
 
BP went down after a year of binging on stimulants. Settled round 115/85 after a life of being a borderline case of high pressure (140/100).

Once checked my BP on the drug store machine while being wired as fok - 155/115.
