Free Health care? This isn't Canada.

They do pay plenty of taxes. Most all illegals work with fake SS#'s. They thus pay payroll taxes like everyone else (and mind you they pay SS tax and won't get it back -- this is actually a decent % of SS intake) . Very few jobs are completely under the table.

Just going by hospital ER employees who first hand told me illegals come in mostly nights and not a dime will be collected! Also the kids born to them as US citizens, you telling me they are covered under an insurance plan paid by the parents? The taxes you say they pay (show me some legit proof) has nothing to do with them not getting free health care!
 
Maybe not, but these guys keep playing with fire and they don't give off the vibe that they have much clue as to what they're doing. At least the Cheney crew looked like pros at whatever the fuck evil they were planning.

I tried this and the hospital has been harassing me for months.

What am I entitled to? My health plan coverage went from $150 to to $200 just to sign in at an ER in 1/2013! I pay them either right on the spot or later when the bill comes with additional charges possibly!

I didn't know you were an illegal person living in US either?
 
Unless you're an illegal, you paying what you supposed to pay! If we had a plan on my own, it would cost me between 600-1K if not more depending on coverage! Employer plan costs bout $300 monthly! Had plan previous with small size employer that ran $400 monthly years ago!

I'm supposed to pay 30k a year for care that costs 3k everywhere else in the world?
 
And it's not unless you are an illegal.

In our country emergency rooms are required to treat emergency conditions regardless of the persons ability to pay at that time. Illegal, legal, black, white, whatever. You are still provided with a bill, they still go after you and you still get collections on your credit report(yes even illegals get credit reports with ITIN #'s)

Poor people tend not to be able to afford the absurd bills that these places send them (I can't even afford them), so many struggle to pay. It has nothing to do with being illegal, other than that they tend to be poor.

I agree that sucks and system needs to change but I thought we were discussing illegals getting free care? You're not illegal, right? You have coverage through your employer? :dunno:

If both answers are Yes ...... 1) then you're properly paying for health coverage 2) Your employer doesn't have a good plan for their employees!

I need a beer, this back and forth is making thirsty!

Maybe you wouldn't but the actual ones do pay attention so they can get credit. You can do all sorts of stuff with an ITIN #.

I took thousands of loan applications from mostly poor people and the illegals overwhelming paid their bills and had less collections compared to the american citizens who had more collections than I even thought possible.
