The Montreal goal that made it 3-2 was a gift, they caught every break tonight, every one.

From getting a 5:00 major power play on a questionable call to the face-off in the 3rd that gave them the lead it was all Habs.

Toronto couldn't clear the zone if their lives depended on it.

This was a horribly referred game. Just horrible. The game was basically unwatchable. The 5 min major to Brown was a joke. Grabbo penalty shot call was a disgrace. He wasn't even 2 strides ahead of the Hab player. The Bozak faceoff draw was atrocious. The ref should have blown it down. Just a shitty game all around. Dion Phaneuf is worthless and is the worst Leaf captain of all time.

Not at all. The Habs played well actually. Outshot the Leafs big time. The refs were bad and I'm sure Mathieu would agree. Leafs play the Islanders tonight, but I think I'm staying away from this game.

Any thoughts on this Plommer?

I dunno, I called the penalty shot myself. Prolly not a by-the-book call, but I think you should call one anytime a clear shot is prevented like that. Didn't see the major.

Players are typically 2 strides ahead of their opponent when penalty shots are called. Refs fukked this one up big time.

Yeah, the major was bullshit, he basically just pushed him aside a bit. Whole thing happened so fast though, hard to blame the ref. Wicked impact.

I still think giving a penalty shot was the right call.

Why did Bozak straighten up anyway? Fok that guy.

Maybe haven't watched much hockey for years but that penalty shot call appeared bad IMO! Guy got past defender at the end when he was already near goalie! Tripping or hooking or whatever but not that!
