The San Francisco World Spirits Competition is one of the most highly esteemed competitions in the alcoholic beverage industry. In 2013, 1407 spirits from 63 countries competed in various categories. Not all spirits are given an award. Those entrants that are given a unanimous gold medal by the panel are given the distinction of a "Double Gold."

As clean a nose as possible with only the alcoholic vapour to tingle the nose. Fresh impact into the mouth with some grainy notes. On swallow a clean, high tone tropical fruit note is produced, as does a warming glow. Well extended, warm finish.
