Jeopardy Diary

Road trip food is by far the worst part of any road trip in the US. The whole country should be covered with Tim Hortons. Common.

Muddy you shoulda done some sightseeing in Boston. Love that city.

mattayyy! That's blasphemy. I'm gonna argue that the US has the best road trip food of anywhere else. At the bare minimum, we love our beef jerky and cornnuts. These can be acquired anywhere. I usually like to do some research to find out where the exceptional local eateries are throughout my route. I will even go a few miles out of my way if the place is famous or highly recommended. Of course if you just drive around and get off at an exit with a golden arched sign, that is gonna limit your options.

Exactly. That was my sin. Nothing was stopping me from touring around a bit. I was never in any actual hurry. But for whatever reason, I kind of acted like I was.

I think a lot of things would have gone differently if I had company for the trip.

I casually asked a few people around me if they found it particularly easy and they didn't seem to so I guess it was just me.

Sometimes really smart guys have trouble with the obvious.

Mudddaay! You silly cunt I'd bet you were the only person there that could have been a fukkin rocket scientist pal, I doubt they were as smart as you, plus you're Canadian - which moves you up a few more notches.

Common.

I believe I did shit while I was there, yes. :clueless:

If Jenny had come, we might still be there but unfortunately she has legal issues going back to her drinking days which prevent her from crossing the border.
I know what you mean, Plommer has the same issue but is not willing to provide the information the US government requires for him to obtain a waiver to enter the USA, (my parents are naturalized US citizens) and I have little/no interest in the USA as a travel destination anymore.

I get a kick out of hearing the stories my dad has when they cross from Ontario to NY in a Canadian vehicle as "American" citizens, the US immigration guys like to ask alot of questions relating to why they live in Canada and that really pisses my old man off.

Yeah my brother is in the same boat.

I myself was in that boat once upon a time - I had a criminal record - but I got a pardon. Long time ago.

Actually, a Canadian pardon is not recognized by the USA, if you ever admitted to being arrested you would have the same problem - you would require a waiver to enter the US. Fortunately you can lie and they can't find out about your old arrests as that information has been purged from the CPIC system once your pardon was granted.

The border guards (US immigration) have direct access to the Canadian database that holds fingerprint records and they often check that database to see if you've been arrested, they DO NOT have access to your criminal record directly, they have to contact the RCMP to get further information on a Canadian.

Plummer is the spawn of dumericans. :biglaugh::lmao::rofl::usa:
Close! I was born in the 1960's in Toronto to a Canadian born mother and Italian father who moved to Florida in 1991, lived in the USA for 10 years and were advised to obtain US citizenship because they owned valuable property and the US has some fucked up laws with regard to "non Americans" owning property.

They are Canadians that hold US citizenship as a matter of convenience/practicality.

They loved America so much they couldn't wait to move back to Canada.

Muddaaay:

Effect of having a Canadian criminal record sealed or destroyed

If it is not necessary to travel to the U.S. right away, it is best to remove your criminal record first.
If you have been stopped and refused entry, you should apply for a U.S. Entry Waiver. It is looked upon favourably if, in your waiver application, you can show that you have sealed or destroyed your file in Canada. This helps to show that you have not been in trouble for some time and that you are serious about leading a crime free life.

If you have never been stopped at the U.S. border it means that they do not know about your criminal record. After your record is pardoned or destroyed, your FPS# no longer appears on searches that INS conducts at the border. Therefore, they will not have access to your past record.

Didn't mean just posters. Meant Muddy would need to interact with everyday people and get them to pose for pictures with his denture casting. Sure it would be a bit more challenging than Robyn pressing her magnificent boobies on some random dude and asking him to pose with a cute mini stuffed dog but it would give Muddy some rather interesting log entries.
