Agreed. Every couple weeks it really does line up though. Last week i went 16/16 one night! I won about $1500 last week across $8.22 of bets! Bet365 now allows 20 game parlays!

Just watching highlights every day pretty much.
I prefer home favorites and I just wait for the days when crappy teams play great teams and my theory is to use the profits from the smaller parlay wins to fund the longshots.
To be clear I did win a few hundred yesterday but missed the big one.

I usually start with around $100 week 1 in NFL. I'll bet some 3-5 game ML parlays for about $10 each. Then I'll bet $1 and $2 crazy bets with the winnings
Last week I hit so, now I'll do $15-20 easier parlays and $5 crazy bets.

Ive been successful now for 3 seasons.. its kind of a proof of concept.. im in a position now that I can keep my profits on the book and upsize my bets so I hope I can crack at least one more big bet before the regular seasons end in NHL and NBA
