Did it last Monday and got rave reviews from all you ate it this time around! Saw where CB said to not use the center cut pork roast and went with a boneless pork shoulder!

What we did! Got dry rub from internet and coated roast and place in frig double clear wrapped for 10 hours! Took out and cooked on low temp in crock pot adding half cup water for 10 hours! Pulled apart pork roast and place in bowl!

Mixed some of the remaining pork juice in crock pot with ketchup and brown sugar and added pork meat and cooked another hour or so in crock pot! Remaining pork juice cooked in pot on stove adding brown sugar and ketchup thickening to as you see in the white sauce cup! Either you could eat the sandwich without any added sauce or drizzle additional sauce over the sandwich as seen in the final pic!

Love it Coug and can't wait to do it again! Next time will cook only 8 hours and see if roast pulls apart easily and after adding pork juice with ketchup and brown sugar only cook pulled meat for 30 minutes additionally in crock pot! Meat might have been slightly overcooked!

TY kindly CB!!!

Yummy. Now that I saw pork shoulder and the temperatures at 80 degrees currently in town I will make kebabs on my rotisserie grill this week. Marinate the pork overnight and grill on wood charcoal for 30 min. Then stuff in pita bread with tzatziki sauce and greek salad.

Substitute apple juice for the water and roughly chop up an onion and line the bottom of the crock pot with them before you put the roast in. Also you can coat the pork with yellow mustard before you cover it with rub...

Pulled pork is so delicious; I make it a couple times per year only I use my charcoal smoker/BBQ and smoke it for the 1st five hours over oak and apple wood... I have a delicious recipe for the rub that I found in an old competition cook book.. Now I want pulled pork too.

I also make sure there is onion on the bottom of the pot before adding the pork, I think this is stated in the original recipe, but it is key. This way the pork does not cook in it's own grease.
