discovered these beauties in my Fruit Loops last night for the 2nd time

WTF are they? Almost puked last week after chewing 1 up with a late night bowl in bed.
texture: hard, gritty
apperance: crack like
taste: overwhelming surge of sugar followed by urge to gag
 
Nutritionally, a hot (wet) fart is better for your stomach than fruit loops.
