How much money do you keep in your sportsbooks? Nobody keeps their entire bankroll in their books, do they? I'm assuming it's a percentage of your bankroll, but maybe it's a fixed number that you don't exceed? It seems like it also might depend on the book. For instance, I feel safer leaving money in the Greek than in Matchbook. I'm a US resident, so I'm not lucky enough to use Pinnacle. I also usually have to pay a fee to get money into a book, so I would hate to take money out only to have to put more back in if I go on a cold streak.

There's no easy answer to that one. It's a balancing act.

As much as you can afford to lose and still pay your bills!

Impossible question to give a short answer to.

I can say this: at books I get into primarily for bonuses, it depends a lot on the max bet. Like I usually deposit an amount so that I will be able to start out with an all-in bet. If I start getting a balance that is 4-5 times a max bet, I usually start thinking about withdrawing. But even that is a fluid situation and depends on rollovers and what kind of reloads I think I can expect and of course what the general reports are of their behavior.

As far as books for straight betting, I have no problem keeping 5 figure balances at Pinnacle, Matchbook and Bookmaker/DSI. I'm sure some people would debate the wisdom of doing that at Matchbook.

But really, I would have a different answer for almost every book you could name. I need to pay attention to reports from players.

As much as possible. Assuming I am finding bets.
