They need to force Canadian MLS teams to use 80% Canadian players and only 20% foreigners so they can grow some local talent. The teams will suck for the first few years but eventually some talent will be developed and the Canadian team can make the World Cup.

The Russians are incapable of playing the same style as Canada.

TBH I think a lot of teams are. Yanks are close, but they lack that real true grit. Canadian players are just an entirely different breed. We're certainly more tougher and rugged. Just look at the Saskatchewan farm boys for example. Look at the Maritime fishermen. Tough as nails.

Dautsyk or even Malkin should be Captain. If they try to build a strategy around getting Ovechkin the shot it will be an unwatchable disaster. Now that I think about it Malkin is the guy that can play creatively is smart and can lead the fucking team. In fact they should make him coach.

I must say, Malkin is a thing of beauty to watch. Actually the entire Pens team is nice to watch. Crosby is the best in the world and Malkin is hard to knock off the puck. Guy is a beast.
