yeah, fascinating character. I really got into his writing after reading Its Me Eddie (about 20 years ago), which to me is the most relevant novel. Its about a Russian immigrant in New York in the 70's (basically himself)
looked him up, and he still seems to be involved in a lot radical shenanigans in Russia. Was just reading some interview with him, foking guy has a impressive, modern, radical philosophy on life imo. He came out of the Moscow Bohemia scene in the 70's. he;s seventy himself, but man, seems pretty sharp
