Has anybody ever cleaned a self cleaning oven?

My NYC apt has one of those. Biggest POS euro-invention ever. If I put the dry cycle on up to 2 hours it will still never be dry.

haha it's the biggest scam EVER!!!!!!

The first time I had one was in LA and I thought maybe I was just screwing it up. Hours and hours to dry clothes so eventually I was putting like 8 things in at a time and my electricity bill was insane. Not sure wtf I was thinking trying it again when I moved here but same shit. Doesn't work at all! And the manual says clothes should still be slightly damp at the end??!! Ummm no. I would like our clothes dry thanks. Never again.
 
Didn't even know, Oksy that a two and one dryer/washer existed, I don't even like the sound of that, how can water and heat possibly go well hand in hand?
I think I will stick to what I got. A total of one hourish to one load, yeah, I'm good.

krazykorean ex was a squirter... had to change sheets almost daily and ended up buying 5-6 sets of sheets...tried laying towels and shit down all over the bed, but when we thought about it, we were still going to have to do the laundry :lol:

This would gross me out. It has to be pee, what else could it be? You might think that someone like me with limited opportunities for sex would say, "meh" it's just a little pee but nope.
 
cleaning manually works better
in my short stinct in the apt cleaning biz I learned its not a job for me.
I'd put 1 of the girls on oven duty...spray the cleaner in and let it soak, then scrub the hell outta if for a long time.
repeat process for 1/2 a day and you still got a filthy oven...

mine needs cleaning ..think I'm gonna do the self cleaning thing , then manually clean it after see how that works.


as far as fitted sheets, I roll them in a ball and shove them where ever they will fit in the closet
most aggravating piece of laundry ever invented...


how bout this since on the domestic subject:
no matter theres a 50% chance of opening a garbage bag by the correct side first try how comes I always struggle with the wrong end no matter how many times I flip it before attempting the alluded opening on first try?

i thought so for the longest time...sometimes it would be creamy and sometimes liquid...but it wasnt coming from the urethra (trust me, i have gotten up close and personal with the whole scenario) im sure sometimes something would come from there, but you could feel it coming from down deep and knew it wasnt pee :yes:
 
Well all I can say is that after many hours, the stain that was causing the problem has turned into a fine powder which I was able to wipe away. I'm sure I could have scrubbed it away originally in 5 minutes, so yeah I'm not doing that again.
 
I've done that once before but turned it off in the middle of it.

Made the entire place smell like shit.

I just clean the grates. I don't care about the bottom. It's obviously fine to just let it burn anyway since that's all the self cleaning does.
