I probably will because I'll probably end up doing the old birds. I do have a soft side when I am operating anything motorized. We'll see how I feel this evening.

The IRS just told me they have no record of me filing a tax return for 2008 or 2009. WTH. I hope my tax preparer is still alive. All my stuff is in Denver. Fok.

Actually it is good news because if I did not file them (which I did) they have my tax liability based on substitute returns which show all income but no deductions.....so if I file them again, I will get quite a bit of credit back. A bad thing turns into a good thing. Sometimes life is like that.


And sometimes bad things stay bad things.

did you get a refund or have to pay? did this refund/payment clear the bank? that is pretty substantial proof. if you cannot find record either way maybe you only filed those returns in your mind.

I don't remember but chances are that I owed. My friend is going to my house in Denver and pulling the records tonight. I just worry about my preparer...old woman her office was piled to the ceiling with files ..in fact she still has some stuff of mine. I know I have them...almost 95% sure....if she didn't file them I don't know what happens then.
