Gab.com

It's like 2008 internet again in that there's no censorship whatsoever. Sure, people say some pretty vulgar things but that's only a small 1% minority and you'll get that type of person in any subset. Its the price you pay for freedom.

Without censorship you no longer quash the creativism of ideas and thoughts. It's pretty cool 👍👍

Theres censorship on the current web? I cant post whatever I want on gamelive.com? I'm confused.

We may need a Xpansive Random Thoughts thread.

I don't get it

I don't get it
Censorship free bruh...

You know, where your personal data isn't kept for an eternity on a data and isn't sold as part of a data mining operation to 3rd party corporate advertisers...??

You know, liberty bruh?

still don't get it

is all that happening when I open computer and log in here as my home page?

this is literally the only site I come on anymore

when I visit gab it loads several scripts that do the opposite of that

Lfie2vx.png

it loads a onesignal javascript, that's a script that makes push notifications possible on their website and app, it's a nice feature but they precisely make money from selling user data to data mining and ad networks, check point 3 second subsection of their privacy policy

https://onesignal.com/privacy_policy#3

***

it also loads a typekit script, typekit is a font service, instead of the website loading an old boring font like Arial or Times New Roman from the visitor's machine it uses a nice new modern font from their private library of fonts, it's a nice feature because it makes their website better legible and cleaner to read using a modern font, but typekit is a service of Adobe Systems Inc. which own probably the second most extensive suit of tracking, analytics and marketing software used by the data mining and advertising networks, second only to google, check their suite of products under the Products tab, Adobe has over 18,000 employees and from the last number I could find from 2008 1000 of them work in this data mining division

https://www.adobe.com/experience-cloud/topics/marketing-analytics.html
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Marketing_Cloud

***

further more it also loads an analytics script that is precisely to track the users

check out the type of tracking it's capable of

it's all a mirage
.

your internet provider Comcast is also in the data mining and ad business, https://www.comcastspotlight.com is one of them, when you open a tab and visit here they are surely tracking that you visited here and cross matching your ad profile and the ghost profile of the website along with hundreds or probably thousands of other data points besides just the visit

the fact that it's a https secured site they can see that you visited https://www.gamelive.com but they can't see that you visited https://www.gamelive.com/threads/down-syndrome-porn.2303/ , that goes for all encrypted sites, they can see the top level but not the content, practically all big isp are in this type of business

besides being tracked at the root internet provider level, gl doesn't currently run any external scripts that could potential track you, this is all that loads on the front page for example, i used to have a google analytics script to count visitors but i don't give a fok anymore

Fair enough brother Roguey...

My point moreso is that these days on twatter you can't even ask what's the difference between a trans woman and a man without being banned for hate speech.

Between twatters extreme censorship issues and crapbooks billion authenticated bots we're seeing a race to see who can be bankrupt their company the fastest and be deplatformed first.

Both are absolutely insidious.

Downloaded gab's dissenter app recently.

It's basically 2014 internet with no censorship.

As predicted the corporate globalist media are attacking it with reckless abandonment.

Fukk, if you don't like it then don't use it. Simple...

Gab was hacked. All of it's database leaked by hackers who are distributing it to journalists in a WikiLeak style. 70GB.

I miss xpy's weird brand of nonsense.

Guy was a genius before his time. Come back expy

Legend has it that he's in Sakhon Nakhon bare hand fishing at the Mekong

Gab was hacked a second time, this time by ransomware people, threatening to leak user verification documents (license, id's etc) and private messages

Of course Gab hasn't pay the ransom

So there's good reason that I don't want to send copy of my ID to sportsbooks, right? Or does it not matter you think?
even though it's legal now in Colorado they still want you to download apps and send paperwork somewhere (ifwanna have an account to bet on line)

generally yeah it's not a good idea to send documents to those quasi legal books and much less to crappy social media sites

rule of thumb is if they don't have an imprint whom to sue then don't send anything

those new legal US books I think it's okay
